On December 16, 2016, Highway 99E was closed for several hours after a car travelling northbound on Highway 99E crossed into southbound traffic and collided with a southbound vehicle. A 7 year of boy in the northbound car was ejected from the vehicle and was critically injured. He was flown to OHSU where he was treated for head and spinal injuries. <\/p>\n
