U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration issues a notice of unsafe and unhealthy working conditions at Veterans Affairs facility 
in Southern Oregon


During inspections of the facility, OSHA identified 17 violations at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs medical facility in White City, Oregon. OSHA issued notices for 10 serious violations, which occur when there is substantial probability that death or serious physical harm could result from a hazard about which the employer knew or should have known. According to the OSHA website, in the past 5 years there have been similar cases in various other VA medical facilities in Oregon.
