On June 10, 2014, a two-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 22W near Doaks Ferry Road west of Salem, leaving one person dead and three others injured. The collision is believed to have occurred when a driver traveling westbound on Highway 22 made a left hand turn across oncoming traffic in an attempt to enter a restaurant parking lot. His car was struck by an oncoming vehicle traveling eastbound on Highway 22.
The passenger of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene while the other three individuals involved in the collision were immediately transported to Salem Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Unfortunately, highway speed collisions are too common and are often devastating both physically and emotionally. If you, or a loved one, have been in such a auto collision it is important that you find a personal injury attorney who can protect you and your rights in your time of need.
